We began this work because we saw what happens when small communities are left unheard — when land and water are treated as expendable, and when rural families are asked to pay the price for decisions made far away.
What started as a fight for justice in our own backyard became something larger — a movement to protect the heart of rural Ontario itself. We’ve seen the flooding, the loss, the silence from those meant to help. And we’ve seen the courage that rises in ordinary people who refuse to give up.
The Protect Rural Ontario Foundation was born from that courage. It stands for everyone who has written letters, called for accountability, and defended their home when no one else would. We are here to make sure those voices are never ignored again.
We fight for our right to clean water, safe land, and honest governance. We protect the soil that feeds us, the rivers that sustain us, and the families who keep Ontario alive.
This Foundation exists because rural Ontario matters — because truth matters — and because our love for this land will always be stronger than the forces that try to divide or diminish us.
